Coffee Concert with Cameo
The new season of Friends of St Mary’s popular Coffee Concerts kicks off with a performance from local chamber choir, Cameo.
Led by their conductor, David Williams from Torquay, they have selected an hour-long programme featuring well-known contemporary composers such as Eric Whitacre, John Rutter and the late John Tavener.
Cameo, who featured in a concert last year in Torquay, with the Military Wives choir (see photograph above), perform music in a variety of styles, seasoned with occasional readings.
