Updates for November & December


Please note that St Mary’s and St John’s Churches both now have new, simplified service timetables, effective from late October 2013.

  • St Mary’s Church is open all day for prayer from 8.45am to 5pm, and the Side Chapels are reserved for prayer and contemplation.

Next Messy Church is on Saturday 23 November, from 3.30pm–5.30pm.

  • There were 50 children (with parents) at the last Messy Church at St John’s, so congratulations to the hard-working organisers!

Building on the success of the Summer Fete at St Mary’s, we are holding a Christmas Fair at St John’s, Saturday 30 November 10am–1pm, more details here.

We would welcome your help to make this a successful community event…

  • Your prayers for the success of the Fair would also be appreciated.

Totnes Food Bank logoFOOD BANK APPEAL: The next main appeal for the Food Bank is, as usual, the first Sunday in the month, and will therefore be on Sunday 3rd November.

We have been humbled by your generosity thus far so please keep up the good work. The Food Bank box will be out for your donations at St Mary’s Church, at both the 8am and the 11.15am services.
